Herschel Supply releases surf inspired collection with Hoffman California fabrics

February 8, 2018 back to overview

Featured in a selection of iconic prints by Hoffman California Fabrics, Herschel Supply presents a collaborative multi-category offering of signature essentials. Recognized as a pioneer of surf fashion, a partnership with the printed textile manufacturer was a natural fit for Herschel Supply’s Hawaii-inspired Spring 2018 Collection.

Three of Hoffman’s vibrant oceanic motifs — Check, Surf and Zig Zag were selected as symbols that encapsulate the expressive spirit of late-1980s big wave surf culture.

“We wanted to do something that people wouldn’t expect,” says Jon Warren, Design Director at Herschel Supply. “When people think of Hawaiian prints, they tend to think of something like Magnum P.I., but we really wanted to reflect the neon and pattern-clashing of that time period.”

This bold offering spans Herschel Supply’s range of lifestyle products, including lightweight Voyage ripstop outwear that easily packs into an internal storage pocket. In addition to select bags and headwear, there are also five wallet styles that feature an RFID blocking layer, which helps prevent the unwarranted scanning of payment cards and identification.

Retailing between €24.99 and €79.99, the complete Hoffman California Fabrics Collection is available at herschel.eu and select global stockists.
