Favoring evolution over revolution, Spring/Summer 2018 sees Carhartt WIP'S focus on subtly altering their timeless classics. They have revisited iconic pieces such as their Chore Coat and Work Pants, as well as reimagining them in new fabrics and colours; what they like to think of as everyday staples, like pocket tees and heavyweight sweatshirts, are presented in pops of summer colour; and their Master Pant finally gets the recognition it deserves, as its poly-cotton fabric and signature laidback style is applied to shirts and outerwear pieces.
We also see the continuation of their Military collection, utilizing ripstop fabrics and camouflage motifs to evoke the spirit of Carhartt WIP’s earliest collections, whilst maintaining a contemporary design outlook.
Carhartt WIP'S womenswear collection mirrors much of what is seen in the men’s
with adapted silhouettes as well as two exclusive all-over prints that riff on the theme of summer-time escapism.
For accessories, the classic Watch Beanie continues to serve as inspiration for a series of minimally branded bags and hats, sitting comfortably alongside more functional, utilitarian-led pieces.
